Jesus cannot be stopped

^” And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”

Matthew 16:17-19

Jesus will not be stopped. Jesus cannot be stopped. There is no power, no government, no false religion, no effort of human will that can stop Jesus from carrying out His plans to see His name proclaimed amongst all peoples, tribes, and tongues. The church is the instrument which Jesus uses to carry out his mission. It cannot be stopped because of Him who is King of the Universe.

Even in places where governments and religions say you cannot follow the Christ, they cannot stop the Spirit of God from His work. Praise God from whom all blessings flow.

These pictures are of new believers in Northern Sudan. They are first generation believers. These are unreached peoples, like the Aringa we will be working with in Uganda. Our Lord Jesus, despite man saying you are not welcome here, is saving people. This is why we want to go to Uganda and why we need your support. We want to take part in what is happening in Africa. There is no more urgent task in the world. Look at the pictures and understand what is happening. These people who were dead in sin and lost in darkness have awoken to the light of the King. There is no church there, and now God is building his body there through these people. It is a miracle! Take a moment to praise God for what He has done and pray for these new brothers and sisters.

These believers have gotten Arabic Bibles and materials from Reaching Africa’s Unreached. It is hard to get Christian materials in Africa, so this is massive thing for these people. There are also believers from Northern Sudan who live in the refugee camps that RAU has been able to teach and disciple that can now go back to their home and carry out the great commission. Rural pastors and teachers from Uganda, South Sudan, and Northern Sudan need teaching and discipling so that they can go and reach their people with the Good News of Christ.
